100% Chardonnay from Napa Valley's Buhman Ranch in the Carneros AVA. Lemon zest, white stone fruit, cantaloupe and minerality lead into subtle floral aromas. On the palate, the lively, medium-light body is wrapped in layers of white peach, under-ripe pear and apricot. The length shows hints of green grass and fresh herbs. This lean and bright wine is accessible now but has great aging potential for those who favor cellared whites like the great wines of Burgundy.
